Having started at Ve in 2013, I worked on various projects before moving into a senior UX role in a product team of three; managing small teams, employing and on-boarding designers along the way.
A key part in the development of one of Europe's few Unicorns and the UK's fastest growing tech company, I've helped disrupt the online engagement industry with the launch of our revolutionary VePanel product. I've also led projects through the full product cycle and more recently had a hand in shifting the business to a SaaS model.TAKE A PEEK
Coffee start-up TSCCO employed me for consultation and brand/web development. From audience profiling and competitive analysis, I created a sophisticated brand for their switched on millennial audience.
Drawing in knowledge hungry aficionados with a comprehensive content hub, a highly functional e-commerce flow features leads users to subscription based products, gift redemption and a range of extras.'AVE A GANDERS
Snow sports travel agent Wasteland Ski employed me to art direct, design and develop the website for their brand new sister company White Road.
Working with only a logo, I developed the brand to appeal to their young, adventurous audience and worked on the information architecture, UX and design to create a high converting leads based website.CAST YOUR EYES
A personal project as part of an exploration into recent high fidelity prototyping tools such as Framer and Flinto, I concepted and designed a mobile app aimed at compiling social media.
Taking a traditional newspaper approach to content delivery, it delivers social media breakdowns of the previous day in order to provide context to the most important events. Casual social media users, or those avoiding it altogether, need never be left out of the conversation.A BUTCHERS HOOK
a passionate UX and web designer, combining craft, thought and dedication. Visual excellence meets results driven decisions, in depth research and business understanding.
I’m currently working for one of London’s few tech unicorns, Ve Interactive. Part of a Product team of three people, I’ve delivered a variety of projects from the concept and research phase right through to UI, development auditing and user testing. I also help train and mentor other designers.
By moonlight, I work with a variety of great freelance clients, primarily in the start up space and the music industry. An involved professional, I work to brief while using UX, marketing and business knowledge to deliver above and beyond expectations.
As well as a variety of other side projects, I founded and edited one of the largest online hip hop magazines in the UK, Broken Culture. It’s growth led to employing a small team of journalists and working directly with some of the most respected hip hop labels and artists in the world.
Away from the screen, I like to write fiction, draw letters, experiment with photography, lurk where the music’s good, sample London’s endless restaurants and travel the wider world as much as possible.
